Meet Dr Edzisani Sodi
She is registered with the HPCSA as a neuropsychologist and clinical psychologist.
She holds a PhD in Psychology from Unisa, an MA in Clinical Psychology from the University of Limpopo, an MPhil in Social Science Methods from the University of Stellenbosch, and BA and BA Honours degrees in Psychology from the University of Fort Hare. Dr. Sodi offers comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, focusing on how brain functioning influences thinking, behaviour, memory, and emotional well-being. Her areas of expertise include assessments for neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and intellectual disabilities, as well as evaluations for memory difficulties, traumatic brain injury, and neurological conditions. She provides detailed medico-legal and Road Accident Fund (RAF) assessments, delivering objective, court-ready reports and expert testimony where required.
In addition to assessment services, Dr. Sodi offers neurocognitive rehabilitation programmes designed to strengthen memory, attention, executive functioning, and overall daily independence. She also delivers a broad range of clinical psychology services, including psychological assessments, trauma therapy, and evidence-based treatment for anxiety and depression. She provides counselling and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults, as well as couple and relationship therapy.
